Ponnur mandal is one of the 57 mandals in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Kilari Venkata Rosaiah – YSR Congress Party is the present MLA of the constituency, who won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from YSR Congress Party. It is under the administration of Tenali revenue division and the headquarters are located at Ponnur town.
