Pongsit Kamphee
Pongsit "Pu" Kampee ( th, พงษ์สิทธิ์ คำภีร์) is a Thai rock singer and producer popular in the Phleng pheua chiwit (Songs for Life) genre. Inspired by (Lek) Preecha Chanapai of Carabao and (Nga) Surachai Jantimathawn of Caravan. Life and career Early life Pu Pongsit Kampee was born in Mueng district in Nongkhai province on May 2, 1967. He is the youngest son in his family and Mr. Somsak is his older brother and Mrs. Saowalak is his older sister. His father, Mr. Sutchai, is a carpenter and his mother Ms. Somphon, is a practical nurse. Both of them work at a hospital near their home. He attended kindergarten and primary education at the Wat Arun Rang Si School and was later educated at a lower secondary school at the Thep Witthayakhan School. Pongsit decided to study at the Thai-Germany Technical Institute in Khon Kaen province but he must have been disappointed because he did not pass the test. Nong Khai province ( th, หนองคาย, ) was formerly the northernmost of the Isan, northeastern (Isan) Provinces of Thailand, provinces (''changwat'') of Thailand until its eight eastern districts were split off to form Thailand's newest province, Bueng Kan province, in 2011. Wonderfruit is an annual gathering that explores wonder through art, culture, music, and nature taking place at The Fields at Siam Country Club, outside Pattaya in Chonburi Province, Thailand. With an emphasis on experiences that explore the relationship between the mind and nature, the event features a farm, musical performances, art and architectural installations, talks, workshops, wellness activities, and feasts by renowned chefs.
