Pongo (geography)
A ''pongo'' is a word used in the Peruvian Spanish dialect for 'canyon'. It is derived from either Quechua language, Quechua ''puncu'' and the Aymara language, Aymara ''ponco'', meaning 'door' or 'gate.' The twelfth season of ''Mad TV'', an American sketch comedy series, originally aired in the United States on the Fox Network between September 16, 2006, and May 19, 2007. Summary For the first time since season four, ''MADtv'' saw not just a change in cast members, but also a change in format. On the cast member front, Stephanie Weir (who actually left at the end of season ten, but was in a lot of pretaped season eleven sketches), Danielle Gaither, and Frank Caliendo were gone (with Gaither being fired by FOX while Weir and Caliendo left on their own accord). In their places, Frank Caeti and Nicole Randall Johnson were promoted to repertory status while Lisa Donovan was hired, starting with the fourteenth episode of the season, then fired by season's end. ''Five Go Off In A Caravan'' is the fifth book in the Famous Five series by the British author, Enid Blyton and published by Hodder and Stoughton. The book includes a circus boy character named Nobby, whose name was changed to Ned, when publisher Hodder Children's Books made extensive editorial revisions to the Famous Five series of books. Plot The Famous Five are holidaying at the family house of Julian, Dick and Anne. They befriend an orphaned circus boy, Ned, who is in a procession of horse-drawn circus caravans. This inspires George to suggest a caravanning holiday. Julian's parents assent and hire two caravans for the children. They travel to Merran Lake, where they are reacquainted with Ned and meet various animals. ''Once Upon a Time'' is an American fantasy adventure drama television series that aired for seven seasons on ABC from October 23, 2011, to May 18, 2018. The action alternates between two main settings: a fantastical world where fairy tales happen; and a fictional seaside town in Maine called Storybrooke.
