Pon Vilangu
''Pon Vilangu'' () is a 1993 Tamil-language drama film directed by debutante director K. S. Rajkumar. The film stars Rahman, Ranjith, Ramya Krishnan and Sivaranjani. It was released on 10 April 1993. Plot Muthu is a daily wage worker whose whole world revolves around his young sister Mallika. Being a short-tempered man who cannot tolerate injustice, Muthu often gets involved in fights furthermore he hates the police. Raani, an avid private moneylender, is in love with Muthu and begins to seduce him in various ways. His sister Mallika falls in love with the honest police inspector Raghu. Both become very close, spending time together until one day Muthu surprises them. The angry Muthu beats up his sister, and Raani intervenes in time to calm the enraged Muthu. Rahman (actor)
Rashin Rahman (born 23 May 1967) is an Indian actor. He has worked in around 200 films, primarily in Malayalam cinema, in addition to Tamil, Hindi and Telugu cinema, and has won several awards. In Tamil and Telugu cinema, he is also known by the screen names Raghuman and Raghu. He made his acting debut in ''Koodevide'' (1983), for which he won his first Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor, becoming the youngest recipient of the award at the age of 16. He was a popular teen idol in Malayalam cinema during the 1980s, which heightened his stardom in Malayalam film industry. He eventually shifted to playing lead roles in Tamil and Telugu films during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Mano (singer)
Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Mano has recorded more than 1,000 songs for film and private various Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya and Hindi films. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845. It was relaunched as the ''New Straits Times'' on 13 August 1974. The paper served as Malaysia's only broadsheet format English-language newspaper. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Uma Ramanan is an Indian playback singer, singing predominantly in Tamil. She is also a Live stage performer who has performed for more than 6,000 concerts spanning 35 years.
