Polonia Khmelnytsky
Polonia Khmelnytskyi (Polish: Polonia Chmielnicki) is an Association football team, founded in 2007 by local members of Polish minority in Ukraine. Its hues are white-red-black, and the team's chairman is Roman Medlakowski. The history of the team is closely associated with Municipal Association of Poles in Khmelnytskyi: a group, which had existed until 1992, to be recreated in 2007. Together with the Association, Polonia Khmelnytskyi was created in the same year. The team is financially supported by local Poles and Polish Consulate. Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine
Khmelnytskyi ( uk, Хмельни́цький, Khmelnytskyi, ), until 1954 Proskuriv ( uk, Проску́рів, links=no ), is a city in western Ukraine, the administrative center for Khmelnytskyi Oblast (oblast, region) and Khmelnytskyi Raion (district). It hosts the administration of the Khmelnytskyi urban hromada. Khmelnytskyi is located in the historic region of Podolia on the banks of the Southern Bug, Buh River. The city received its current local government designation in 1941. The current city's population is estimated , making it the second largest city of the former, archaic Podolia region after Vinnytsia and the largest city of the western part of the region. Pogoń Lwów
LKS Pogoń Lwów is a former Polish professional sports club which was located in Lwów, Lwów Voivodeship (now Lviv in Ukraine), and existed from 1904 until the outbreak of World War II in 1939. It was the second oldest Polish football club behind other teams from Lwów – Czarni and Lechia. With numerous departments, among them football, ice hockey and track and field, Pogoń was a major force of Polish sports in the interbellum period; its football team was never relegated from the elite Polish Football League. The club ceased to exist in September 1939, following German and Soviet aggression on Poland. On 2 July 1939, Pogoń played last pre-war official home game, drawing 1–1 with AKS Chorzów.
