Academica is a Polish online interlibrary system providing access to digital documents of the National Library of Poland that includes both copyrighted material for registered users in selected libraries within Poland as well as free access to public domain material. The Warsaw Uprising ( pl, powstanie warszawskie; german: Warschauer Aufstand) was a major World War II operation by the Polish resistance movement in World War II, Polish underground resistance to liberate Warsaw from German occupation. It occurred in the summer of 1944, and it was led by the Polish resistance Home Army ( pl, Armia Krajowa).
