Polly Bukta
Polly Bukta (born April 3, 1937) is the Iowa State Representative from the 26th District and is the Speaker Pro Tempore. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 1997. She received her BS from Mercyhurst College, Mercyhurst University. Bukta currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Education committee; the Local Government committee; the Transportation committee; and the Veterans Affairs committee. Bill Dotzler
William Anthony "Bill" Dotzler Jr. (born May 7, 1948) is the Iowa State Senator from the 31st District. A Democrat, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2003 and previously served as assistant majority leader. Early life and education Dotzler went to Cedar Falls High School graduating in 1966. He then received his A.A. from North Iowa Area Community College in 1969. Dotzler then served in the United States Army Office of Military Intelligence for three years, serving one tour in Germany. Upon returning, Dotzler enrolled in the University of Northern Iowa receiving his B.A. in Biology in 1975. Rob Hogg
Robert Mason Hogg (born January 24, 1967) is the Iowa State Senator from the 33rd District. A Democrat, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2007 after having served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. He ran in the Democratic primary for the 2016 United States Senate election in Iowa, but he lost to former Iowa Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge. Clinton County, Iowa
Clinton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the population was 46,460. Its county seat is Clinton. Its name is in honor of the seventh Governor of New York State, DeWitt Clinton. Clinton County comprises the Clinton, IA Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Davenport–Moline–Rock Island Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Clinton County was formed on December 21, 1837. It was named for DeWitt Clinton, a Governor of New York and most ardent advocate for the construction of the Erie Canal. The cities of DeWitt and Clinton were also named after him. In 1835, Elijah Buell built a log cabin for himself and his family and was thus the first settler of the region.
