''Pollanisus viridipulverulenta'', the satin-green forester, is a moth of the family Zygaenidae. It is found in the eastern part of Australia ( Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania). Description The adult moth has head, thorax and forewings metallic blue-green, while the hindwings are grey. The wingspan is about 30 mm. The length of the forewings is 11–13 mm for males and 8–9 mm for females. The female has a yellow tuft of hair at the tip of the abdomen. This species resembles other adult moths in the genus such as ''P. apicalis'' (generally smaller with narrower wings) and ''P. subdolosa'' (distinguishable by a bronze "collar" behind the head). ''Pollanisus nielseni'' is a moth of the family Zygaenidae. It inhabits the Australian state of Western Australia, mostly coastal areas, and has brilliantly shiny forewings. The diurnal adults are most active on sunny days. Eggs are laid on the plant '' Hibbertia spicata'', and females touch each egg after oviposition with a tuft of hair on their abdomen, which attaches protective spines. ''Pollanisus empyrea'' is a moth of the family Zygaenidae. It is endemic to the temperate parts of the Australian state of Western Australia. The length of the forewings is 8–8.5 mm for males and females. It is probably at least partly bivoltine since adults have been found on wing in late summer and late autumn. The head, thorax, forewing upperside and parts of the forewing and hindwing underside are covered with shiny (almost metallic) golden, greenish-golden or coppery-golden scales.
