Politie Voetbal Vrienden
PVV (''Politie Voetbal Vrienden'', en, Police Football Friends) is a Surinamese football club from the capital city Paramaribo, currently playing in the SVB Eerste Divisie, the first tier of football in Suriname. History Founded on 1 September 1924 as SPSV (Surinaamse Politie Sport Vereniging), and serving as the football club of the local Police force, the club name was changed to P.V.V. (Politie Voetbal Vereniging) on 6 February 1945. They were the first club to win the Surinamese Cup, winning against SNL 3–2 after extra time in the final. SNL are the football club of the Surinamese military, seeing the first National Cup to be contested between the police and the military. Brian Cameron and Mark Ronde (2x) scored for PVV in the final, while Ewald Demidof (2x) scored for SNL. Party For Freedom
The Party for Freedom ( nl, Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV) is a nationalist, right-wing populist political party in the Netherlands. Founded in 2006 as the successor to Geert Wilders' one-man faction in the House of Representatives, it won nine seats in the 2006 general election making it the fifth-largest party in parliament. In the 2010 general election it won 24 seats, making it the third-largest party. At that time the PVV agreed to support the minority government led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte without having PVV ministers in the cabinet. However, the PVV withdrew its support in April 2012 due to differences over budget cuts at the Catshuis. In the following 2012 Dutch general election it won 15 seats, having lost 9 seats in the elections, still being the third-largest party.
