Bruce Poliquin
Bruce Lee Poliquin (; born November 1, 1953) is an American businessman and politician. A member of the Republican Party, he represented Maine's 2nd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019. Poliquin was first elected to Congress in the 2014 general election. From 2010 to 2012, he was the 49th Maine State Treasurer. He was a candidate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in 2012, finishing second in the primary election. In January 2017, at the start of the 115th Congress, Poliquin was the sole Republican representing a U.S. House district in New England. Poliquin was defeated by Democrat Jared Golden in his 2018 run for reelection; he became the first incumbent to lose his seat in Maine's second congressional district since 1916. Charles Poliquin
Charles R. Poliquin (March 5, 1961 – September 26, 2018) was a Canadian strength coach. He was also the author of eight books. Early life and education Charles Poliquin was born on March 5, 1961 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and started strength training at an early age. He earned a master's degree in exercise physiology. Career Poliquin began working as a strength coach while he was in graduate school in Canada. He helped popularize German Volume Training. In the late 1990s, Poliquin founded Poliquin Performance, opening the first Poliquin Performance Center in Phoenix, Arizona in 2001, and the Poliquin Strength Institute in East Greenwich, Rhode Island in 2009. Throughout this time he certified coaches in the Poliquin International Certification Program (PICP), which includes a body hormone profiling method, which he invented, called BioSignature Modulation. Daniel Poliquin
Daniel Poliquin (born December 18, 1953) is a Canadian novelist and translator. He has translated works of various Canadian writers into French, including David Homel, Douglas Glover, and Mordecai Richler. Poliquin and his hometown of Ottawa are the subjects of 1999 documentary film ''L'écureuil noir'' (English: ''The Black Squirrel''), directed by Fadel Saleh for the National Film Board of Canada. He was awarded the Order of Canada with the grade of member and was recently promoted to the grade of officer in 2015. Poloquin is also a Chevalier in the Ordre de la Pleiade and a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal. He won the Governor General's Award for English to French translation in 2014 for his translation of Thomas King's '' The Inconvenient Indian: A Curious Account of Native People in North America'', and in 2017 for his translation of Alexandre Trudeau's ''Barbarian Lost: Travels in the New China''.

John "JP" Poliquin (born August 24, 1986) is a Canadian music video, commercial and feature film director. He has directed music videos for bands such as Hedley, Finger Eleven, Mother Mother, and Carly Rae Jepsen, and his music video work has been nominated for awards at the Juno Awards, the MuchMusic Video Awards, the East Coast Music Association Awards, the PEI Music Awards, and the Leo Awards.
