Polina Rahimova
Polina Rahimova ( az, Polina Rəhimova; born 5 June 1990) is an Uzbekistani-born Azerbaijani indoor volleyball player that plays for Brazilian club SESI/Vôlei Bauru and Azerbaijan women's national volleyball team. In December 2015, during her time in Japan, Rahimova achieved 58 points in a single match, setting a world record. Fergana
Fergana ( uz, Fargʻona/Фарғона, ), or Ferghana, is a district-level city and the capital of Fergana Region in eastern Uzbekistan. Fergana is about 420 km east of Tashkent, about 75 km west of Andijan, and less than 20 km from the Kyrgyzstan border. While the area has been populated for thousands of years, the modern city was founded in 1876. History Fergana first appears in written records in the 5th-century. However, archeological evidence demonstrates that the city had been populated since the Chalcolithic period. Islamic Solidarity Games
The Islamic Solidarity Games ( ar, ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي) is a multinational, multi-sport event. The Games involve the elite athletes of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation who compete in a variety of sports. The Solidarity Games were initially created to strengthen Islamic camaraderie and reinforce the values of Islam, primarily to the youth. The Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the organization that is responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games. The ISSF strives to improve Islamic solidarity, promote Islamic identity in sports and help reduce discrimination toward Muslims. Women's Challenge Cup (volleyball)
The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. The CEV qualification for the 2010 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship saw member nations compete for eight places at the finals in Japan. Draw 33 of the 55 CEV national teams entered qualification.
