Sick Puppies is an Australian alternative metal band formed in Sydney, New South Wales in 1997. After releasing their debut album '' Welcome to the Real World'' in 2001, the band rose to prominence in 2006 when their song " All the Same" was uploaded, along with a video, to YouTube. The video supported the Free Hugs Campaign, which was launched in Sydney, and has since received over 78 million views on the website. This success was followed up with their second studio album, '' Dressed Up as Life'' in 2007, which entered the ''Billboard'' 200 at number 181. Their third studio album, '' Tri-Polar'', came out on 14 July 2009. The band's fourth studio album, ''Connect'' was released on 16 July 2013. You're Going Down
"You're Going Down" is the lead single from Sick Puppies' third album '' Tri-Polar''. "You're Going Down" was used by WWE to represent their '' Extreme Rules'' pay-per-view event as its official theme song. The wrestling promotion also used the song by making it part of the soundtrack to their video game '' SmackDown vs. Raw 2010''. It was also used in a pre-game video package for the Montreal Alouettes at the 96th Grey Cup and the opening theme for the 2010 live-action film adaptation of ''Tekken''. The official release date was 2 June 2009 but the band had already begun streaming the song through their Myspace page. It is also the part of the trailer for ''My Soul to Take''. When Moore was asked how he wrote the song his answer was, "I asked myself, when you're getting pumped up to get into the ring, what would you want to hear? And that's what came out." "Odd One" is the second single from Sick Puppies' third album '' Tri-Polar'', which impacted rock radio on 10 November 2009. According to the band's Twitter, the video was filmed on November 25. According to pictures posted on the band's Twitter and a video clip on YouTube in the following days, the video was filmed at a skate park. "Riptide" is the fourth single from Sick Puppies' third album '' Tri-Polar'', which impacted radio on 8 February 2011. Originally this song was planned to be the second single, but "Odd One" narrowly beat out "Riptide" because of its strong lyrical message. Music video A music video was premiered on 6 April 2011 on Yahoo music. The video features the band playing in front of a lot of T.V's screening the most shocking breaking news and the iniquities in the world. "All the Same" is a song by Australian band Sick Puppies, released as the first Single (music), single from their 2007 album ''Dressed Up as Life'', although it was first released on their self-titled EP a year before the album. It reached No. 8 on the US ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart and featured in the Free Hugs Campaign. The radio edit cuts off the middle of the second verse and end of the third verse, whereas there are no vocals in the third verse. Music videos The song has three music videos. Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer.
