Pokhara Thunders is a Nepali professional franchise football club based Pokhara. The club competes in the Nepal Super League, the top flight football league in Nepal. History The club was formed in March 2021 after the establishment of Nepal Super League the first ever franchise football league in Nepal, under the supervision of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). Pokhara Rangasala
The Pokhara Rangasala ( ne, पोखरा रङ्गशाला) is a multi-purpose stadium in Pokhara, Gandaki Province, Nepal. It has a capacity of 16,500 spectators. The venue is located to the south of Pokhara at Rambazaar on the eastern bank of Seti river. History The facility comprises a football stadium surrounded by an athletics track of 400m, one 7-A side football ground, a volleyball court, a basketball court, cricket ground and covered hall for games like badminton, karate and other indoor sports. The administrative building of Kaski district sports office and ANFA Kaski lies here. It is the only venue in Nepal beside Dasarath Rangasala Stadium to host international football matches and beside Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground to host international cricket matches. Anil Gurung ( ne, अनिल गुरुङ; born 17 September 1986) is a Nepali footballer who plays as a striker for Brigade Boys Club in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. He took retirement from the national team duty after 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification – third round match against Philippines on 14 November 2017, which was his 50th cap for the national team.
