Pokegama () is an unincorporated community in Pokegama Township, Pine County, Minnesota, United States; along the Pokegama Lake. Its name in Ojibwe is ''Bakegamaang'', meaning "at the side-lake", referring to Pokegama Lake's position to the Snake River. The community is located between Pine City and Henriette; near the intersection of Pine County 7 and Pine County 13. Pokegama Lake
Pokegama Lake is the name used for two lakes in the U.S. state of Minnesota. One is located near Grand Rapids in Itasca County. The lake was made into a reservoir by the construction of the Pokegama Lake Dam on the Mississippi River in Cohasset, Minnesota. The other Pokegama is located near Pine City in Pine County. Pine City, Minnesota
Pine City is a city in and the county seat of Pine County, in east central Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,130 at the 2020 census. A portion of the city is located on the Mille Lacs Indian Reservation. Founded as a railway town, it quickly became a logging community and the surrounding lakes made it a resort town.
