Igor Pokaz
Igor Pokaz (born 23 May 1968) is a Croatian diplomat that has served as ambassador to NATO and Russia. He is serving as Croatia's ambassador to the United Kingdom since September 1, 2017. Education Pokaz has a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Zagreb and received his Master's degree in International Relations from the Global Master of Arts Program at The Fletcher School, Tufts University. He also attended Oxford University's Foreign Service Programme from 1998 to 1999. Career Igor Pokaz started working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994. His first posting abroad was to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the United Nations from 1999 to 2003, in the capacity of diplomatic counsellor. Ivan Pokaz
Ivan Pokaz (born 21 December 1942) is a retired Croatian general who served as deputy head of intelligence at the General Staff of the Armed Forces during the Croatian War of Independence, and as head of military intelligence from 1996 until 2000. He is married to Slavica, with whom he has two sons - Tomislav and Igor Pokaz. Military career Ivan Pokaz was actively involved in the Croatian War of Independence from the Summer of 1991. He initially served as expert advisor for research, development and production in the Croatian Ministry of Defence. From 1992, he held positions within the General Staff, including Head of Department for electronic reconnaissance, and then Deputy Head of Intelligence. From 1996 to 2000, Pokaz was the Head of Intelligence within the General Staff. He went on to serve as Croatia's military attaché to Austria, Slovakia, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe from 2001 until his retirement in 2003. Tomislav Pokaz (born 25 April 1975) is a Croatian official who is currently serving as the economic advisor to Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. Tomislav Pokaz is the son of retired general Ivan Pokaz. His brother, Igor Pokaz, is a diplomat. Career Pokaz began his career of public service in 2002 as senior expert advisor at the Ministry of Defence. He then transitioned to the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency from 2005 until 2011.
