Poison (Street Fighter)
is a character (arts), fictional character in the ''Final Fight'' and ''Street Fighter'' series of video games. Created by Akira Yasuda for Capcom, Poison first appeared in the original ''Final Fight (video game), Final Fight'' alongside a similar character, Roxy, later appearing in Capcom-produced games, media and merchandise related to the ''Street Fighter'' franchise. She is voiced by Atsuko Tanaka (voice actress), Atsuko Tanaka since the ''Street Fighter III'' series and Masae Yumi in ''SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos''. Originally conceived as a female thug in ''Final Fight'' and part of the game's antagonist group, Mad Gear, concerns during the game's development about reactions from North American audiences to fighting women led to the character being re-imagined as a "wikt:newhalf, newhalf". ''Final Fight'' is a series of beat 'em up video games by Capcom, which began with the arcade release of ''Final Fight'' in 1989. Set in the fictional Metro City, the games focus on a group of heroic vigilantes who fights against the control and various threats of criminal gangs, primarily the Mad Gear Gang. is a 1999 3D fighting game released by Capcom. ''Revenge'' is the only one-on-one fighting game in the ''Final Fight'' series of games. The cast of playable characters includes series mainstays Mike Haggar, Cody and Guy, along with various members of the opposing Mad Gear gang. Originally developed for the Sega Saturn-based ST-V arcade hardware, a home version of ''Revenge'' for the Saturn only in Japan followed in 2000. A Dreamcast version was planned, but it was cancelled. GameSpy was an American provider of online multiplayer and matchmaking middleware for video games founded in 1996 by Mark Surfas. Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (also known by its initials as GLOW or G.L.O.W.) is a women's professional wrestling promotion that began in 1986 (the pilot was filmed in December 1985) and has continued in various forms after it left television. Colorful characters, strong women, and over-the-top comedy sketches were integral to the series' success. Most of the performers were actresses, models, dancers or stunt women hoping to enter show business. Inception David B.
