Point Blank (Nailbomb Album)
''Point Blank'' is the only studio album by heavy metal music, heavy metal band Nailbomb, released on March 8, 1994, by Roadrunner Records. The side project ''Nailbomb'' was started by Max Cavalera and Alex Newport in the mid-1990s. The first track "Wasting Away" appears in the 1995 film ''To Die For''. The album cover is a female Vietnamese civilian with a U.S. soldier's gun to her head. The album was played live in its entirety for the first time ever in 2017 by Max Cavalera with his band Soulfly, more than 20 years after the release of the album and the band's break up. However, Alex Newport was not part of these performances due to his busy schedule. Cavalera's son Zyon Cavalera, Zyon performed Newport's vocal and keyboard parts for the tour. Nailbomb was a heavy metal band formed in 1994 as a side project by Brazilian musician Max Cavalera of Sepultura, Cavalera Conspiracy and Soulfly, and English musician Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel. Jello Biafra
Eric Reed Boucher (born June 17, 1958), known professionally as Jello Biafra, is an American singer, spoken word artist and politician. He is the former lead singer and songwriter for the San Francisco punk rock band Dead Kennedys. Initially active from 1979 to 1986, Dead Kennedys were known for rapid-fire music topped with Biafra's sardonic lyrics and biting social commentary, delivered in his "unique quiver of a voice". Dino Cazares
Dino Cazares (born in 1966) is an American musician, known for being the guitarist and one of the co-founders of industrial metal band Fear Factory. He is also the co-founder of the metal bands Divine Heresy, Asesino, and Brujeria. Cazares popularized the use of digital amp modelling processors, as well as the use of seven and eight-string guitars in metal music. Career Cazares met singer Burton C. Bell in 1989 and started a group under the name Ulceration, which was renamed to their current name Fear Factory in the following year with Raymond Herrera on drums. Igor Cavalera
Igor Graziano Cavalera (born 4 September 1970) is a Brazilian musician, best known as the former drummer for the heavy metal band Sepultura, which he co-founded with his brother Max in 1984. Max left the band in 1996, and Cavalera himself would depart ten years later, making him the last original member of Sepultura to leave the band.
