Point of Rocks is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Frederick County, Maryland, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 1,466. It is named for the striking rock formation on the adjacent Catoctin Mountain, which was formed by the Potomac River cutting through the ridge in a water gap, a typical formation in the Appalachian Mountains. Pleasant View is a commuter rail station in Pleasant View, Utah, formerly served by the FrontRunner, Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) commuter rail train that operates along the Wasatch Front with service from Ogden in central Weber County through Davis County, Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake County to Provo in central Utah County. UTA announced that FrontRunner service to and from the Pleasant View station was to be suspended indefinitely with the schedule valid from August 12, 2018. Trabue's Tavern, also known as Pleasant View, is a historic plantation house and former tavern located near Midlothian, Chesterfield County, Virginia. The original section was built about 1730, and consists of two parts—an early -story western wing with a lean-to and a later two-story eastern wing with a one-story rear lean-to. Both sections are frame structures with gable roofs. Also on the property are several contributing buildings: an outhouse, well house, dairy, smokehouse, two kitchen buildings, schoolhouse, and family cemetery. Macon Trabue installed a wrought iron fence around the cemetery in the mid-nineteenth century. The property was owned by the Trabue family, an ethnic French Huguenot family who were among the principal mine-owners in the town.
