Playz Original Programming
Playz (stylised as playz) is an online service belonging to Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish public broadcaster, streaming free-to-air content for a young audience. It was launched on 30 October 2017. History Embedded within the RTVE webpage, Playz was launched on 30 October 2017, with the release of ''Colegas'', , ''Dorien'' and ''Inhibidos''. The launch was predated by the premiere of another original release on 11 September 2017, '' Si fueras tú'', a transmedia fiction series loosely adapting the New Zealand series ''Reservoir Hill'' which served to promote the kickstart of the platform. The Corporación de Radio y Televisión Española, S.A. (; ), known as Radiotelevisión Española or RTVE, is the state-owned public corporation that assumed in 2007 the indirect management of the Spanish public radio and television service known as Ente Público Radiotelevisión Española. ''Yrreal'' is a Spanish action thriller television series created by Alberto Utrera and Paula Sánchez for Playz which stars Angy Fernández and Veki Velilla. It premiered on 17 November 2021. The series blends live action footage with 2D animation. Premise Two young women, Lucía and Elena, one striving for justice and the other one seeking vengeance, team up to dress in superhero costumes and then kidnap a prime suspect behind the disappearance of Elena's sister, only to find out that things do not come out as smoothly as expected.
