PlayAlong
{{unreferenced, date=October 2011 PlayAlong is a massively multiplayer dual screen interactive experience, synchronized with TV shows. It can be used via various devices such as PC, Mac, tablets or smartphones. It was created by Visiware in 2010 and has already been used for various TV shows, and allowed TV viewers to play with the candidates of TV shows as they were broadcast. Eventually, PlayAlong will be used for many other social television purposes such as interactive advertising, main sports events, or polling, voting, quizzes and debates during TV shows. Visiware
Visiware is a French interactive television agency operating in Europe and North America. Founded in 1994 by Laurant Weill, Visiware is a French publisher and distributor of video games for interactive television, mobile phone and internet, and a specialist in casual gaming. Its main interactive channel Playin' TV, airs on more than 30 cable, satellite and ADSL networks in 77 countries. Since October 2009, Visiware is also the head of a skill gaming website, PlayinStar. In 2010, Visiware created PlayAlong, a new system that allows synchronisation between TV and mobile devices as TV shows are broadcasting. SBS6
SBS6 is a Dutch free-to-cable commercial TV channel and is a part of Talpa TV, formerly known as SBS Broadcasting B.V. and now owned by Talpa Network. Other channels of the group in the Netherlands are Net5, Veronica, and SBS9. History SBS stands for Scandinavian Broadcasting System. When the SBS Broadcasting Group started expanding outside of Scandinavia in 1995, one of the first countries where they set up a channel was the Netherlands with SBS6. SBS6 was the third Dutch commercial TV station after RTL 4 and RTL 5, both being launched in 1989 and 1993 respectively. SBS6 launched on 28 August 1995. When SBS6 was launched, they were in a tough competition with the channel Veronica, which started as a commercial station at the same time. ''Million Dollar Money Drop'' was an American game show that aired on Fox in the United States and Canada. It is based on the UK flagship series ''The Million Pound Drop Live'' (now ''The £100K Drop''), but featured an entirely different game format and its show's set (blue as opposed to red, and a different music theme). The series is hosted by Kevin Pollak. The show premiered on December 20, 2010 and ended on February 1, 2011. The Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (; SBT ; "Brazilian Television System") is a Brazilian television network founded on Wednesday, 19 August 1981, by the businessman and television personality Silvio Santos. The company was established after a public tender by the Brazilian Federal Government to form two new networks, created from revoked concessions of the defunct Tupi and Excelsior networks.
