Plastiq Phantom is the musical alias of Darrin Wiener who records music ranging a wide variety of genres. Plastiq Phantom first began releasing music in 1999 with the self-released CD-R ''Select Imputor?'' EP, which became the impetus for the formation of his own record label imputor?. His debut full-length ''Enjoy The Art Of Lying Down'' was released in 2001 on the Seattle label Neverstop. His self-titled second album was released October 19, 2004 by the imputor? label. In addition to his own releases, Plastiq Phantom has been credited with production of many other acts including Vells, Psychic Emperor, Calculator Man & Hangar, Pleaseeasaur, and DJs On Strike!. ''Moog'' is a 2004 documentary film by Hans Fjellestad about electronic instrument pioneer Dr. Robert Moog. The film features scenes of Dr. Moog interacting with various musical artists who view Moog as an influential figure in the history of electronic music. ''No One's First, and You're Next'' is an EP by American indie rock band Modest Mouse, released on August 4, 2009. It features unreleased tracks and B-sides from the band's previous two studio albums, ''Good News for People Who Love Bad News'' (2004) and ''We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank'' (2007). Imputor? is an independent record label founded in 1999 by Darrin Wiener (aka Plastiq Phantom) and Jordan Snodgrass. Originally based in Seattle and San Diego, Imputor? began releasing experimental electronic music (also known as Intelligent dance music or IDM), and has since expanded into styles such as Indie rock and Comedy. Imputor? moved its base of operations to Portland, Oregon. History The duo had first met 7 years earlier while attending high-school together in Vista, California, a suburb located in North San Diego County. The name ''Imputor?'' is said to be a made-up contraction of the phrase "I am a computer." It was inspired by the title track ''Select Imputor?'' from Plastiq Phantom's debut CD-R EP which was released by the label in 1999. Modest Mouse
Modest Mouse is an American rock band formed in 1992 in Issaquah, Washington, and currently based in Portland, Oregon. The founding members are lead singer/guitarist Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green, and bassist Eric Judy.
