Plamen Nikolov - Patso ( bg, Пламен Николов - Пацо, born 24 June 1957 in Pleven) is a former Bulgarian defender (football), football defender. Club career In his career Nikolov played mostly for PFC Levski Sofia. In 1984, he was named Bulgarian Footballer of the Year. He was a successful player in the Swedish top division when playing for IK Brage. Between the seasons in Sweden (where they play spring-fall) he was on loan to Antwerpen and Vitosha Levski. After his retirement, he worked as assistant manager of Levski Sofia as well as head coach of OFC Spartak Pleven, Spartak Pleven, Olympik Teteven and POFC Botev Vratsa, Botev Vratsa. Plamen Nikolov (footballer, Born 1961)
Plamen Nikolov ( bg, Пламен Николов; born 20 August 1961) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Born in Dryanovo, Nikolov started his career at local Lokomotiv Dryanovo. He played 251 games in the Bulgarian First League over 17 seasons, appearing in the competition for Lokomotiv Sofia, Levski Sofia and Septemvri Sofia. Throughout his career, Nikolov earned six caps for the Bulgaria national team and was a member of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 1994 World Cup. He replaced Borislav Mihaylov in the second half-time during the third place match against Sweden. Plamen Venelinov Nikolov ( bg, Пламен Венелинов Николов; born 12 June 1985) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Spartak Pleven Nikolov was born in Pleven. After emerging through Levski Sofia's youth system, he made his professional debut in the second level with Spartak Pleven, the club from his home town. He made his team début on 7 August 2004, in an 0–0 draw against Rilski Sportist Samokov. On 6 October 2004 Nikolov scored his first goal in a 6–0 drubbing of amateur side Botev Lukovit of Bulgarian Cup. Plamen quickly became part of the main team and for two seasons earned 53 appearances, scoring two goals. Litex Lovech In June 2006, Nikolov agreed a deal to sign for Litex Lovech for an undisclosed fee. He has made his debut for Litex in Rilski Sportist match on 13 August 2006 as an 85th-minute substitute.
