Place on Earth is a Danish trio consisting of Mille Katharina Hassenkam, Kathrine Ørnfelt and Andreas Falch Kruse. The Xx
The xx are an English indie rock band from Wandsworth, London, formed in 2005. The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC, record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar). They are known for their distinct and minimalist sound that blends indie rock, indie electronic, indie pop, dream pop and electro-rock and the dual vocalist setup of both Croft and Sim. Their music employs soft, echoed guitar, prominent bass, light electronic beats and ambient soundscape backgrounds. The band was formed when Croft and Sim met during their time at Elliott School, with Baria Qureshi joining the same year and Smith a year later. ''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). The original judging panel consisted of Thomas Blachman, Lina Rafn and Remee. The current panel consists of Blachman and Martin Jensen. Former judges include Soulshock, Pernille Rosendahl, Cutfather, Ida Corr, Anne Linnet, Mette Lindberg, Sanne Salomonsen and Oh Land. The original host was Lise Rønne. MGMT () is an American indie rock band formed in 2002 in Middletown, Connecticut. It was founded by multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser. Alongside VanWyngarden and Goldwasser, MGMT's live lineup currently consists of drummer Will Berman, bassist Simon O'Connor, and guitarist and keyboard James Richardson. "Electric Feel" is a song by the American rock band MGMT, released as the second single from their debut studio album ''Oracular Spectacular'' (2007) on June 23, 2008. Rue Royale (band)
Rue Royale is an Anglo-American indie folk band based in Nottingham, England. The band was formed in Chicago by the married couple Brookln and Ruth Dekker in 2006. "We play hypnotic indie-folk-pop influenced by American and British folk, soul and rock." says Brookln. Initially based in Chicago, the band's first release ''The Search for Where to Go'' EP was self-released in January 2007. "Once we decided to start a band, we hit it running.
