Pjazza (programme)
Pjazza (in English: Square), is a Maltese television programme shown on TVM, the national television station of Malta. This programme begun in 2006 summer season, under the name of ''Fil-Pjazza tar-Raħal'' (In the Village Square) and then completed in the winter time with ''Kull Ħadd fil-Pjazza'' (Every Sunday in the Square), with a programme every Sunday morning. This programme now shortened to ''Pjazza'' because "everyone used to refer to it as Pjazza, so if you can't beat them, join them!" said Angie Laus, one of the programme's producers. In summer 2006, the ''Pjazza'' team traveled all over Malta and Gozo, visiting places like Sliema, Birżebbuġa, Marsaskala, San Ġiljan, Żejtun, Marsalforn and other localities. In 2006 this programme was presented by Peter Carbonaro, and in 2007, joining Peter Carbonaro, there is also Angie Laus herself, Elaine Saliba, and Fabrizio Faniello.
