Pivotal Rockordings
Pivotal Rockordings is a record label that was founded in 2004 by Leevan Macomeau and Alexi Front. Following its inception, Pivotal Rockordings signed its first artist, Sonic Syndicate, a melodic death metal band from Falkenberg, Sweden and released Eden Fire, Sonic Syndicate's (and Pivotal Rockordings') first full length on September 13, 2005. Sonic Syndicate's album would eventually land them a record deal with Nuclear Blast Records and give the label notoriety. ''Eden Fire'' would go on to sell over 10,000 copies by the end of 2010 with the help of Sonic Syndicate's continued commercial success and a re-release through Koch Distribution in the U.S. in collaboration with France's Listenable Records. By spring 2006, Pivotal Rockordings capitalized on its success with Sonic Syndicate by signing their second artist, Blinded Colony, a band from the Southeastern city of Karlshamn, Sweden. Melodic Death Metal
Melodic death metal (also referred to as melodeath) is a subgenre of death metal that employs highly melodic guitar riffs, often borrowing from traditional heavy metal (including New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The genre features the heaviness of death metal but with highly melodic or harmonized guitar riffs and solos, and often features high-pitched shrieked vocals (differing from traditional death metal) alongside the low-pitched growls commonly featured in traditional death metal. Pioneered by the English heavy metal band Carcass with their 1993 album ''Heartwork'', melodic death metal developed further in Sweden (developed by bands like At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, and In Flames) in the mid-1990s. Stigma (Italian Band)
Stigma was an Italian band based in Mondovì. The group was founded in 2000 and played Metalcore but their musical style changed. Nowadays Stigma plays a mixture of Melodic Death Metal, Deathcore and Grindcore. Their albums ''When Midnight Strikes!'' (2008) and ''Concierto for the Undead'' (2010) were released through the US label Pivotal Rockordings. 2010s album ''Concierto for the Undead '' was produced by Bring Me the Horizon guitarist Jona Weinhofen. The Japanese and Australian album version is distributet by Stomp Entertainment. Their digital EP ''The Undertaker'' which was produced by Simone Mulanori, Brandan Schieppati (musician of Bleeding Through) and Anaal Nathrakh musician Mick Kenney. Christian Älvestam (Born 14 April 1976 in Sweden) is a vocalist, lyricist, guitarist, bassist and drummer for several bands from Sweden. He is, however, best known as the former vocalist for the Swedish metal band Scar Symmetry. He currently performs with several bands, including Solution .45, Miseration, Cipher System, Svavelvinter, Ill-Wisher, Pre-Human Vaults and has made several guest appearances for other music bands. Vanisher (Telford Porter) is a fictional character and mutant supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Vanisher's primary ability is teleportation. The Unguided
The Unguided is a Swedish melodic death metal band, founded by Richard Sjunnesson, Roger Sjunnesson, Roland Johansson and John Bengtsson, all of whom are former members of Sonic Syndicate. Later, they were joined by Cipher System bassist Henric Liljesand. Bengtsson was replaced by Richard Schill in late 2012 and Johansson was replaced by Jonathan Thorpenberg in 2016. History Formation (2009-2010) Before The Unguided was formed, all of the core members played in the Swedish metal band Sonic Syndicate. Vocalist Roland Johansson left in 2009 due to issues with extensive touring. The Amenta are an Australian Heavy metal music, metal band formed in 1997 as Crucible of Agony. By 2002 the line-up was Cesium 137 (aka Mark Bevan) on lead vocals, Diazanon (Dave Haley) on drums, Ethion (Erik Miehs) on guitar, Endrin (Nathan Jenkins) on bass guitar and Chlordane (Timothy Pope) on keyboards. In 2009 the line-up had Miehs and Pope joined by Laura Glitsos, Cain Cressall on vocals, Dan Quinlan on bass guitar and Robin Stone on drums.
