''Pirata'' is the second live album from Italian rock band Litfiba. It was recorded on the 1989 tour that followed the'' Litfiba 3'' album. It is also the title of the live video that was released on the same tour. New Wave Music

Compagnia Generale Del Disco
Compagnia Generale del Disco (CGD) was an Italian record label. History CGD was founded in 1948 by singer Teddy Reno. At that time it was established in Milan in Via Passarella 4. As artistic director Reno called fellow musician Lelio Luttazzi, who replaced David Matalon as Head of International Production in 1956. By collaborating with some publishers such as Suvini-Zerboni and Messaggerie Musicali, CGD was able to hire many artists who roused much success as Giorgio Consolini, Betty Curtis and Johnny Dorelli. Under the Sugar Helm In 1959, Teddy Reno sold CGD to Ladislao Sugar, a publisher of Hungarian origin and future entrepreneurial owner of the Sugar Group, which was founded by Carlo Alberto Rossi's Casa Editrice Ariston, and then abandoned to buy Musical Messengers (Messaggerie Musicali). ''Litfiba 3'' is the third studio album from the Italian rock band Litfiba that ends the "Trilogy of power" started with first album'' Desaparecido''. It is the last album on which new wave influences can be heard. Lyrics deal much with social and political criticism. "Louisiana" is about the death penalty and doubts about guilt, through the example of sentenced Willie Jasper Darden (depicted in the cover). Litfiba was an Italian Rock music, rock musical band, band formed in Florence, Italy, in early 1980. The band evolved from British-influenced new wave rock to a more personal rock sound influenced by Mediterranean vibes; their songs are mostly sung in Italian language, Italian. Pietro "Piero" Pelù (born 10 February 1962) is an Italian singer and songwriter, best known for his work with the Italian band Litfiba. He was born in Florence. In July 1999, Pelù quit Litfiba. In 2000, he released his first solo album ''Né buoni né cattivi''. In 2002, his duet with an Indonesian popstar, Anggun, entitled "L'amore immaginato" reached No.1 in the National Italian Airplay Charts for over two months.
