Piran (tribe)
Piran is a Kurdish tribe located in Iran, but also Iraq, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan. History The Piran tribe has an ancient history. Part of the Piran tribe migrated to modern-day Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Khorasan province, Iranian Khorasan during the transfer of Kurds from Western Iran and eastern Iraq during the Safavid period to defend against Uzbek and Mongol invasions. The Piran tribe lives in Piranlu, Razavi Khorasan, Piranlu, Piranshahr, Sarpol-e Zahab, Kermanshah, Dehloran, and Ilam province, Ilam in Iran, and Amarah in southern Iraq. Kermanshah ( fa, کرمانشاه, Kermânšâh ), also known as Kermashan (; romanized: Kirmaşan), is the capital of Kermanshah Province, located from Tehran in the western part of Iran. Amarah
Amarah ( ar, ٱلْعَمَارَة, al-ʿAmārah), also spelled Amara, is a city in south-eastern Iraq, located on a low ridge next to the Tigris River waterway south of Baghdad about 50 km (31 mi) from the border with Iran. It lies at the northern tip of the marshlands between the Tigris and Euphrates. It had a population of about 340,000 in 2002 and about 420,000 in 2005 and in 2020 they are about 1,100,000 . Dehloran
Dehloran ( fa, دهلران; also Romanized as Dehlorān) is a city in and the capital of Dehloran County, Ilam Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,602, in 5,787 families. The city lies along Road 64, near the Iraqi border. A national natural monument lies in the north-eastern part of the city. Demographics The city is populated by Kurds and Lurs. Piranshahr
Piranshahr ( fa, پیرانشهر; ckb, پیرانشار, Pîranşar) is a city located in West Azerbaijan Province in west Iran. It is the capital of Piranshahr County.
