Pioneers F.C. (Dublin)
Pioneers Football Club is an Irish association football club based in Dublin. It was founded in 1908 by members of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association. Between 1922–23 and 1925–26 they played four seasons in the League of Ireland. In 2009–10 Pioneers were playing in the Amateur Football League. In 2015 Pioneers were revived after a five season period of inactivity. They recently played in the Leinster Senior League before disbanding in 2017. The French Football Federation ( FFF; french: Fédération Française de Football) is the governing body of football in France. Gallia Club Paris
Gallia Club, also known as Gallia Club Paris to identify the club's location, was a French amateur football club based in Paris. The club was founded in 1896 and were known as ''Les coqs'' (The Roosters). Gallia Club was among the few clubs that participated in France's first-ever football league, ''Le Championnat de USFSA'', joining the league for the 1896–97 season. The club won its only USFSA league title in the 1904–05 season defeating Roubaix 1–0 at the Parc des Princes. Midfielder Georges Bayrou was particularly instrumental in the club's success. Bayrou later went on to become one of the founding fathers of professionalism in French football. Gallia Club also won the Coupe Manier and the Coupe Dewar in 1904 and 1909, respectively. 1924–25 FAI Cup
The FAI Cup 1924–25 was the fourth edition of Ireland's premier cup competition, The Football Association of Ireland Challenge Cup or FAI Cup. The tournament began on 3 January 1925 and concluded on 17 March with the final held at Dalymount Park, Dublin. An official attendance of 23,000 people packed the stadium to capacity as record holders Shamrock Rovers defeated Ringsend rivals Shelbourne to claim their first title. The Football Association of Ireland Senior Challenge Cup (FAI Cup), known as the Extra.ie FAI Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a knock-out association football competition contested annually by teams from the Republic of Ireland (as well as Derry City from Northern Ireland). Organised by the FAI ( Football Association of Ireland), the competition is currently sponsored by '' Extra.ie''. It was known as the Free State Cup from 1923 to 1936. Dundalk ( ; ga, Dún Dealgan ), meaning "the fort of Dealgan", is the county town (the administrative centre) of County Louth, Ireland. The town is on the Castletown River, which flows into Dundalk Bay on the east coast of Ireland. It is halfway between Dublin and Belfast, close to the border with Northern Ireland. It is the eighth largest urban area in Ireland, with a population of 39,004 as of the 2016 census. Athlone (; ) is a town on the border of County Roscommon and County Westmeath, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is located on the River Shannon near the southern shore of Lough Ree. It is the second most populous town in the Midland Region, Ireland, Midlands Region with a population of 21,349 in the 2016 census.
