Alon Pinkas
Alon Pinkas ( he, אלון פנקס, born 6 August 1961) is an Israeli diplomat and writer. Early life Alon Pinkas was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in Rehovot. He graduated'' summa cum laude'' in political science from Hebrew University. After his bachelor's he went straight to the United States to do his master's, and he graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with degree in Government and Politics. He is married to Revital. They have two children. Diplomatic career Pinkas served as Chief of Staff to Shlomo Ben-Ami and David Levy (Ministers of Foreign Affairs). He was a foreign policy advisor for Ehud Barak and political advisor to Shimon Peres. From 2000 to 2004, Pinkas served as Consul General of Israel in New York City.Alon Pinkas may be Israel's next UN ambassador

David-Zvi Pinkas ( he, דָּוִד־צְבִי פִּנְקָס, 5 December 1895 – 14 August 1952) was a Zionist activist and Israeli politician. A signatory of the Israeli declaration of independence, he was the country's third Minister of Transport. Biography Born in Sopron in Austria-Hungary (today in Hungary), Pinkas attended high school in Vienna, before studying at a yeshiva in Freiburg and law at the University of Vienna. He was involved in Zionist youth groups, and was one of the leaders of Young Mizrachi in Vienna and one of the founders of the Yeshuran movement. In 1923, he was a delegate to the 13th Zionist congress, and two years later immigrated to Mandate Palestine. He became director of Bank Mizrahi in 1932, the same year in which he was elected to Tel Aviv city council. Three years later he was appointed head of the city's education department. Israel Pincas ( he, ישראל פנקס; born January 28, 1935) is an Israeli poet. Biography Pincas was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1935. He lost his father at the age of 6. As a boy, he emigrated to the Mandate Palestine with his mother in 1944. He lives in Tel Aviv. Published works Pincas published his first book of poetry ''14 Poems'' in 1961. His most famous poem is ''Ilmale'' ("Were it not")See ''The Modern Hebrew Poem Itself'' (2003) His poems were published in various circles, in the literary supplements of daily newspapers and periodicals. Many of his poems were published in the magazine ''Exclamation Point'', after many years of nonrecognition. Itai Pinkas
Etai J. Pinkas Arad (born 1973) was a leader of the Israeli LGBT community. Pinkas served as chairman of the national LGBT association in Israel and was a member of the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Council and advises the mayor on LGBT affairs. Pinkas is an active council member of the Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality (representing the Meretz Party) and serves as the Chair of the city's tenders committee and responsible for the Operations Division. Pinkas also chairs the municipality's steering committee for the Ayalon capping. In his profession, Pinkas is a risk management expert, specializing in environment and infrastructures. Karol Pinkas (13 February 1950 – 7 June 2023) was a Polish chess International Master (1986). Chess career In 1973 Karol Pinkas appeared for the first time in the finals of Polish Chess Championship, taking 12th place in Gdynia. Until 1993, he appeared in the final tournaments nine times, achieving the best result in 1977 in Piotrków Trybunalski then he took the 6th place. From the mid-1970s Karol Pinkas began to be successful in national chess tournaments. In 1976 he shared the 1st place in the Swiss-system tournament in Świeradów-Zdrój (among others with Krzysztof Pytel and Zbigniew Szymczak) and took 2nd place in the international chess tournament in Katowice. Sally Pinkas
Sally Pinkas is a pianist, born and raised in Israel. She is Professor of Music at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and pianist-in-residence of the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth. Early life and education Pinkas moved to the United States as a teenager to study piano. She studied at Indiana University and the New England Conservatory of Music, and earned her Ph.D. in Composition and Theory from Brandeis University. She made her debut in London in 1983. Career Her principal teachers were Russell Sherman, George Sebok, Luise Vosgerchian, Genia Bar-Niv and Rami Bar-Niv (piano), Sergiu Natra (composition), and Robert Koff (chamber music).
