Pinhoe
Pinhoe is a former village, manor and ecclesiastical parish, now a suburb on the north eastern outskirts of the City of Exeter in the English county of Devon. The 2001 census recorded a population of 6,108 people resident within Pinhoe Ward, one of 18 wards comprising the City of Exeter. The population increased to 6,454 at the 2011 Census. History Historically Pinhoe formed part of Wonford Hundred. It falls within Aylesbeare Deanery for ecclesiastical purposes. A parish history file is held in Pinhoe Library. Pinhoe is mentioned as 'Pinnoch' in the Great Domesday Book compiled in 1086. There have been several significant archaeological finds in the village over the past 100 years. These have included Roman coins and what is known as 'the Pinhoe hoard' of Bronze Age metalwork found in 1999. Stéfano Souza Pinho (born 12 January 1991) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Indy Eleven in the USL Championship. Club career Pinho was top scorer at the 2013 MLS Combine. He was drafted in round two of the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft by Colorado Rapids but was not signed by the club. In 2014, Pinho joined MyPa of the Finnish top flight on loan from Fluminense FC. On 17 March 2015, Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League announced that Pinho had joined the club for the 2015 season on loan from Fluminense FC, along with teammate Marlon Freitas and Corinthians defender PC. Caetano Infancio De Souza Pinho (born 18 September 1976) is a Indian professional football manager. He is current manager of I-League club Aizawl. Early life Pinho was born in Goa, India. António Pinho Vargas (born Vila Nova de Gaia, August 15, 1951) is a Portuguese composer and pianist specializing in jazz and contemporary music. He has also written books, essays, and articles on music. Career Having obtained a degree in history at the University of Porto, he studied music at the Rotterdam Conservatory from 1987 to 1990 and graduated with a degree in Musical Composition.
