Pinggu Line
Line 22 (Pinggu line) of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line under planning in Beijing and Hebei Province. It will run from Dongdaqiao station in Chaoyang District to Pinggu station in Pinggu District with 21 stations. The length of the line is 81.2 km, and 53.8 km will be underground. The line will use 8-car Type D rolling stock. The line is under construction and will open in 2025. Stations History The line was originally planned to begin at Dongfengbeiqiao station and will end at Juhewan station in Pinggu District. However, in 2019, it was announced that the line will run in a different route. The line will still start in the urban center of Pinggu District. Beijing Sub-Center Railway Station
Beijing Sub-Center railway station (), also known as Beijingchengshifuzhongxin railway station, is a railway station in the sub-administrative center area, Tongzhou District, Beijing. This integrated transportation hub (ITH) started construction on to build the largest underground one in Asia opening in late 2024. The total site area of the ITH is , with a floorage of overground. The total investment of the ITH is approximately 42.1 billion Renminbi. This station and the ITH are designed by AREP, Beijing General Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute, China Railway Design Corporation, and China Architecture Design Group. The Beijing central business district, or Beijing CBD (), is a central business district and the primary area for finance, media, and business services in Beijing, China. Batong Line
The Batong Line of the Beijing Subway () is an east–west rapid transit line in eastern Beijing. It extends Line 1 further east from in Chaoyang District to in Tongzhou District. Through operation with Line 1 started on August 29, 2021. The Batong Line derives its name by combining the first character of Bawangfen (), another name for Sihui, and Tongzhou (), the eastern suburban district of Beijing which the line serves. The Batong Line is mainly above ground with only 3.8 km section is underground and runs from the in the west to in the east. The colour of the Batong Line that is shown on maps, like that of Line 1, is red. The line tends to be very crowded during rush hour. Line 6 (Beijing Subway)
Line 6 of the Beijing Subway () is a rapid transit rail line in Beijing. The line runs from Jin'anqiao in Shijingshan District to Lucheng in Tongzhou District. It serves important residential areas such as Changying, Chaoqing, and Dingfuzhuang, in addition to important commercial and business areas such as Financial Street, Beijing CBD and the sub-administrative center in Tongzhou District. Like Line 7, Line 6 provides relief to the parallel Line 1, which is the second most used subway line in Beijing, after Line 10.
