A pine is any conifer tree or shrub in the genus ''Pinus'' () of the family Pinaceae. ''Pinus'' is the sole genus in the subfamily Pinoideae. "Pinewood" is the eighteenth episode of the second season, and 40th episode overall from the Fox series '' Gotham''. The episode was written by co-executive producer Robert Hull and Megan Mostyn-Brown and directed by executive producer John Stephens in his first ''Gotham'' episode directed.
