Pinewood, Suffolk
Pinewood is a civil parish and electoral ward in the Babergh district of the English county of Suffolk. Whilst not part of the borough, it forms part of the town of Ipswich although part of the parish is separated from it by Belstead Brook, a tributary of the River Orwell. The parish was formed on 1 April 1994 from parts of Washbrook, Belstead and Wherstead. It is in the Belstead Brook electoral division of Suffolk County Council. Bobbitshole SSSI Bobbitshole is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) designated for its geological importance. The site is to the east of the parish, located on a sewage works site to the south of Belstead Brook. Ipswich
Ipswich () is a port town and borough in Suffolk, England, of which it is the county town. The town is located in East Anglia about away from the mouth of the River Orwell and the North Sea. Ipswich is both on the Great Eastern Main Line railway and the A12 road; it is north-east of London, east-southeast of Cambridge and south of Norwich. Ipswich is surrounded by two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB): Suffolk Coast and Heaths and Dedham Vale. Belstead is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of the English county of Suffolk. Located on the southern edge of Ipswich, around south-west of Ipswich town centre. It had a population of 202 according to the 2011 census. South Suffolk is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2015 by James Cartlidge, a Conservative.
