	Pilu Khan Souls is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Chittagong in 1972. History In 1972, singer Tajul Imam, guitarists Sajedul Alam and Momtazul Hoque Lulu, bassist Subrata Barua Ronny, and drummer/keyboardist Ahmed Newaz formed Souls. In 1982, Naseem Ali Khan and Ayub Bachchu joined. The band started writing and composing their own songs while performing cover songs of western bands in hotels. In 1982, they released their debut album, ''Super Souls'', which was one of the first albums released by a music group in Bangladesh, along with the debut album of the band Shocking Blue. The album features the song "Mon Shudhu Mon Chuyeche", written and composed by Naquib Khan and Tapan Chowdhury (singer), Tapan Chowdhury on the vocals of the song. The Kumar Bishwajit song "Torey Putuler Moto Kore Shajiye" is a Souls track from their debut album. 	Pilu Momtaz Pilu Momtaz ( – 23 May 2011) was a Bangladeshi singer. Background and career Momtaz was born in Dhaka. She was the third of seven children born to the Bangladeshi singer Ustad Momtaz Ali. She launched her career in the years immediately following Bangladesh's independence in 1971. Her songs included "Ekdin Tho Choley Jabo", "Chara Gaachh-e Phool Phuitachhey", and "Majhi Nao Chhaira Dey," a song written by Bangladeshi songwriter and poet, Jasimuddin. Her final public performance took place at the ''2010 Citycell-Channel i Music Awards''. Momtaz took the stage at the awards show with Fakir Alamgir and Ferdous Wahid to perform the song, "Ek Second-er Nai Bhorosha," as a tribute to the late singer, Firoz Shai. picture info	Pilu Oil Pilu oil is an extract from seeds of the Pilu tree (''Salvadora persica''), also known as the toothbrush tree. It is used for soaps, detergents, and resist dyeing. Characteristics The oil comes from the seed and kernel. The percentage of the oil in seeds is 32-34%. The seed contains a brittle shell on the outer surface, and the kernel accounts for 60% in dried seed, containing 40-43% oil. ‘Sweet Variety’ of Pilu yields 35-44% oil which has a strong odour. The odour is due to the presence of Benzyl isothiocyanate in the oil. There is greenish yellow fat called Khakan fat. The purified fat is free from foul odour and has an agreeable taste. It is snow white. The oil is rich in lauric and myristic acids. It has a high melting point and a disagreeable odour that disappears on purification.
