Jean-Jacques Pillot
Jean-Jacques Pillot (9 August 1808 – 13 June 1877) was a French revolutionary and republican communist. He participated in the Revolution of 1848 and in the Paris Commune of 1871. Early life Jean-Jacques Pillot was born in Vaux-Lavalette. He came from a pious family of humble means, entered the seminary at Marennes and became a priest. However, he deplored the role of the Catholic Church in propping up the Restoration régime and became increasingly doubtful about the existence of God. In the 1830s he underwent a crisis of conscience and prepared his exit from the Church by studying medicine. In 1837 he renounced his priesthood and became a doctor in Paris. He also proclaimed himself an atheist, a republican and a communist. Pillot increasingly devoted himself to political activism and journalism. Luc Pillot (born 10 July 1959) is a French sailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the 470 class at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, together with Thierry Peponnet. They received bronze medals in 1984. Pillot won the yachting race Tour de France à la voile in 1998. He was the skipper of Le Défi at the 2003 Louis Vuitton Cup The 6th Louis Vuitton Cup was held in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2003. Luis Pillot
Luis Guillermo Pillot Massó (August 22, 1917 – November 2, 1963), nicknamed "Guido", was a Puerto Rican pitcher in the Negro leagues in the 1940s. A native of Guayama, Puerto Rico, Pillot made his Negro leagues debut in 1941 with the New York Black Yankees, and played for the Cincinnati Clowns in 1943. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, and returned to the New York club for the 1946 season. Rémi Pillot (born 27 July 1990) is a French professional association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Championnat National 2 club Les Herbiers VF, Les Herbiers. Career Pillot was born in Besançon. In August 2012, he signed for Belgian side K.V. Kortrijk, Kortrijk where he took up the role as second goalkeeper behind South African player Darren Keet.
