Agnes Emma Baker Pilgrim (September 11, 1924 – November 27, 2019) was a Native American spiritual elder from Grants Pass, Oregon. She was the oldest member of her tribe, the Takelma. Guy Ellcock Pilgrim
(Henry) Guy Ellcock Pilgrim ( Stepney, Barbados, December 24, 1875 – Upton, then in Berkshire, September 15, 1943) was a British geologist and palaeontologist. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society and Superintendent of the Geological Survey of India, and made significant contributions to Cenozoic continental stratigraphy and vertebrate palaeontology. Biography Pilgrim was born the son of Henry Ellcock Pilgrim and Beatrice Lucy Wrenford. After studies at the local Harrison College, he attended University College London where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1901 and Doctor of Science in 1908. He was appointed to the Geological Survey of India in 1902 and promoted to superintendent in 1920, a post he held until his retirement in 1930. Major Janet Pilgrim, RRC (born c. 1966) is a former British Army nurse who was awarded the Royal Red Cross in 2008 for her services in Iraq. The Royal Red Cross was established by Queen Victoria in 1883 for exceptional service in the field of military nursing. As commander of the Basra air base's field hospital during the battle with the Mehdi Army, she led the busiest British field hospital since the Falklands War. Mark Pilgrim (born 20 September 1969) is a South African media personality who has hosted numerous radio and television shows, most notably as a DJ on 5FM, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, 94.5 Kfm, Hot919 and currently Hot102.7fm. On television, he hosted both seasons of Big Brother South Africa, the first season of ''Big Brother Africa'' and the MNET game show ''Power of 10''. Paul Pilgrim
Paul Henry Pilgrim (October 26, 1883 – January 8, 1958) was an American runner. He competed at the 1904, 1906 and 1908 Olympics and won three gold medals in 1904 and 1906. At the 1904 Summer Olympics, Pilgrim failed to complete the 400 m and 800 m events, and finished sixth in the four mile team run, aiding the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) to win the gold medal. In 1906, Pilgrim traveled to Athens on his own, missing the wave that washed over the deck of the American team's ship in Gibraltar. The wave injured about half-dozen athletes aboard the deck, including one of the favorites in the 400 m, Harry Hillman. Pilgrim advanced to the final in the 400 m, and was third before the final straight. On that stretch, he passed Wyndham Halswelle of Great Britain and Nigel Barker of Australia to win in time of 53.2 seconds. Peace Pilgrim (July 18, 1908 – July 7, 1981), born Mildred Lisette Norman, was an American spiritual teacher, Mysticism, mystic, pacifism, pacifist, vegetarian activist and peace activist. In 1952, she became the first woman to walk the entire length of the Appalachian Trail in one season.
