Pilar Castro (born 12 October 1970) is a Spanish film, television and stage actress. Biography Pilar Castro was born in Madrid on 12 October 1970. Before turning actress, she worked as a dancer. Then she trained her acting jobs at Cristina Rota's school. She has since had a film, television and stage career. She landed her debut TV performance with a guest appearance in ''Este es mi barrio''. She hosted the 8th Feroz Awards in 2021. 34th Goya Awards
The 34th Goya Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences (AACCE), honored the best in Spanish films of 2019 and took place at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena in Málaga on 25 January 2020. The ceremony was televised in Spain by Televisión Española (TVE) and was hosted for the second consecutive year by television presenter and comedian Andreu Buenafuente and actress Silvia Abril. It was also televised for the international public by the TVE Internacional channel. It was the third overall time and the second consecutive year that the ceremony was held outside of Madrid: previously the 14th edition and the 33rd edition had taken place in Barcelona and Seville respectively. It was also the second consecutive year that the ceremony takes place in Andalusia. Nominations were announced on 2 December 2019 by Elena Anaya and Miguel Herrán. Cuarteto De La Habana
Cuarteto ( es, quartet), sometimes called cuartetazo, is a musical genre born in Córdoba, Argentina. The roots of the cuarteto ensemble are in Italian and Spanish dance ensembles. The name was coined because the early dance-hall numbers were invariably four-piece bands (violin-piano-accordion-bass). Cuarteto is almost always upbeat; its rhythm range is similar to that of modern Dominican merengue. In the 1970s, cuarteto became one of the cornerstones of Córdoba's cultural identity—together with ''Hortensia'' magazine. Both reflected a local brand of popular culture overlooked by the establishment, and proposed an alternative to the Buenos Aires-centered culture that television was spreading to the rest of the country. Gerardo Vera Perales (10 March 194720 September 2020) was a Spanish costume and set designer, opera director, actor, and film and theatre director.
