''Pikmin 4'' is an upcoming real-time strategy video game developed and published by Nintendo. It will be the fourth main installment of the ''Pikmin'' series and fifth installment overall. The game is set for release on the Nintendo Switch in 2023. Gameplay ''Pikmin 4'' has the standard ''Pikmin'' series gameplay. The player controls a minuscule leader, commanding the smaller Pikmin species. ''Pikmin 4'' adds a new mechanic to deploy Pikmin, and a camera option much closer to the ground. Development On September 7, 2015, ''Pikmin'' creator Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed to ''Eurogamer'' that ''Pikmin 4'' was in development, and "very close to completion". commonly abbreviated as Nintendo EPD, is the largest division within the Japanese video game company Nintendo. In 3D video games, a virtual camera system aims at controlling a camera or a set of cameras to display a view of a 3D virtual world. Camera systems are used in video games where their purpose is to show the action at the best possible angle; more generally, they are used in 3D virtual worlds when a third-person view is required. Nintendo Switch Games
The Nintendo Switch is a video game console developed by Nintendo, for which games are released both in physical and digital formats. Physical games are sold on cartridges that slot into the Switch console unit. Digital games are purchased through the Nintendo eShop and stored either in the Switch's internal 32 GB of storage (64 GB in the OLED version) or on a microSDXC card. The Switch has no regional lockout features, freely allowing games from any region to be played on any system, with the exception of Chinese game cards released by Tencent that play only on consoles distributed by Tencent. Upcoming (formerly Upcoming.org) is a social event calendar website that launched in 2003, founded by Andy Baio (blogger), Andy Baio. Features Upcoming combines features of an event calendar and a social networking site. Primarily, the site is a searchable, browseable repository of upcoming events, such as art exhibits, conferences, and music concerts. Event information is primarily contributed by the user community, although in its later years, an increasing percentage of event data originated from commercial sources. Users can indicate their plans by marking that they are "watching" or "going" to an event. Users can also establish "friend" relationships with each other and receive notifications about what their friends are attending.
