Pigmartyr
''Pigmartyr'' (2004) is an album by Raymond Watts, a.k.a. PIG. This was the first album he signed as "Watts" instead of "PIG". The First copies (approx. 500) were signed and numbered by Raymond Watts. The album was remastered and rereleased through Metropolis under the title Pigmata in 2005, as a PIG album, with three additional tracks mixed by Isaac Glendening of Cesium 137. Album information Raymond Watts' first release since 1999's '' Genuine American Monster'', ''Pigmartyr'' is a bit of a departure from typical Pig material. Gone are most of the bombastic string sections and orchestral influence, ''Pigmartyr'' takes a turn toward the hard rock side, and has a much more raw and stripped down feel. The album was largely recorded in London, UK with a number of collaborators, including a duet ("Take") with glamorous UK rockchick Harry (aka Dirty Harry) and a couple of co-writes ("Situation" and "Here To Stay") with Marc Heal of Cubanate. ''Pigmartyr'' was originally planned ...

Isaac Glendening
Isaac; grc, Ἰσαάκ, Isaák; ar, إسحٰق/إسحاق, Isḥāq; am, ይስሐቅ is one of the three patriarchs of the Israelites and an important figure in the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He was the son of Abraham and Sarah, the father of Jacob and Esau, and the grandfather of the twelve tribes of Israel. Isaac's name means "he will laugh", reflecting the laughter, in disbelief, of Abraham and Sarah, when told by God that they would have a child., He is the only patriarch whose name was not changed, and the only one who did not move out of Canaan. According to the narrative, he died aged 180, the longest-lived of the three patriarchs. Etymology The anglicized name "Isaac" is a transliteration of the Hebrew name () which literally means "He laughs/will laugh." Ugaritic texts dating from the 13th century BCE refer to the benevolent smile of the Canaanite deity El. Genesis, however, ascribes the laughter to Isaac's parents, Abrah ...

Cesium 137 (band)
Cesium_137 is an American futurepop musical group composed of Isaac Glendening and Vince Guzzardo. It originally also included Matt Cargill. History The group's first release was the album ''Advanced/Decay'' in 2001 on Tonedeaf Records. Its style was electro-industrial. It gained widespread attention, particularly with the moody dance track "Regrets," which was also released as a single and became a danceclub hit. Soon after the September 11, 2001 attacks, Matt Cargill joined the U.S. military and was no longer available as a member of Cesium_137. Cesium_137 had a hiatus of three years before their next release. That release was ''Elemental'' in 2004; it was issued with Metropolis Records, a much more prominent label than Tonedeaf. It was soon followed by an E.P. release, ''Luminous'', also in 2004 on Metropolis; it composed largely of remixed material from ''Elemental''. Cesium_137's style was much mellower and synthpop inspired and less angst-ridden on these releases than on ...

Industrial Rock
Industrial rock is a fusion genre that fuses industrial music and rock music. It initially originated in the 1970s, and drew influence from early experimental and industrial acts such as Cromagnon, Throbbing Gristle, Einstürzende Neubauten and Chrome. Industrial rock became more prominent in the 1980s with the success of artists such as Killing Joke, Swans, and partially Skinny Puppy, and later spawned the offshoot genre known as industrial metal. The genre was made more accessible to mainstream audiences in the 1990s with the aid of acts such as Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, both of which have released platinum-selling records. History Origins (late 1970s and 1980s) Richie Unterberger assessed the Red Krayola as "a precursor to industrial rock" with their 1967 record ''The Parable of Arable Land'' exhibiting music made by 50 people on anything from industrial power tools to a revving motorcycle whilst ''Pitchfork'''s Alex Lindhart assessed their 1968 follow up ...
