Piglet (band)
Piglet was a short-lived American, Chicago-based instrumental math rock band, formed by the former members of the band Seyarse. Their style of music is labeled such things as "math rock," "indie rock', "post rock" "experimental rock," and instrumental rock Instrumental rock is rock music that emphasizes musical instruments and features very little or no singing. Math rock is a style of progressive and indie rock with roots in bands such as King Crimson and Rush as well as 20th-century minimal music composers such as Steve Reich. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Experimental rock, also called avant-rock, is a subgenre of rock music that pushes the boundaries of common composition and performance technique or which experiments with the basic elements of the genre.
