Pigi ( el, Πηγή) is a village located in the Famagusta District of Cyprus, south of Lefkoniko, in the Mesaoria plain. The name means "water well". Pigi, Rethymno
Pigi is a local community of the Rethymno Municipality in the Rethymno regional unit of the region of Crete established by Kallikratis reform. Previously, it was part of the municipal district of Municipality of Arkadi. Capital of the new municipality is Rethymno. Geography and history Pigi is located 9 km east of the city of Rethymno, on the road towards Arkadi, at an altitude of 60 meters, 1 km from Adele village. It is situated in the heart of a fertile and relatively smooth area, which in older times it was called Aryan. It is noteworthy that the English traveller Robert Pashley was the one who first wrote about the origin of the name of the village, 170 years ago. The relevant note is the two-volume book of this great traveller, printed in London in 1837. Pigi, Trikala
Pigi ( el, Πηγή) is a large village in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. It is 9 kilometers (ca. 5–6 miles) west from Trikala on the national road of Trikala-Arta. Hrysopiyi Devetzi
Hrysopiyi "Piyi" Devetzi ( el, Χρυσοπηγή Δεβετζή, , born January 2, 1976) is a retired Greek athlete who competed in the triple jump and long jump. Devetzi was born in Alexandroupoli. She won the triple jump silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics with 15.25 and the triple jump bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics with 15.23. At the 2004 Summer Olympics semifinal she set a Greek record of 15.32 metres. This performance ranked her in the fourth place of all time triple jumpers, after the world record holder, Inessa Kravets, her greatest rival Tatyana Lebedeva and the twice-olympic gold medalist Françoise Mbango Etone. She won another silver medal at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, losing the gold at the last jump by Tatyana Lebedeva. The BMW i is a sub-brand of BMW founded in 2011 to design and manufacture plug-in electric vehicles. The company initially released two vehicles: the i3 all-electric car and the i8 plug-in hybrid. The all-electric iX3 SUV was released in late 2020, while iX SUV and the i4 all-electric liftback sedan followed later in 2021. Concept versions of both the i3 and i8 were shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
