Pig Memorial
Pig Memorial ( th, อนุสาวรีย์หมู) is a memorial in Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang sub-district, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. It is located in the inner city or Rattanakosin Island which is a historic area of the city. Pig Memorial was built in 1913, the year of Queen Saovabha Phongsri's 50th Birthday Anniversary. Its official name is "Sahachart Memorial" (อนุสาวรีย์สหชาติ), which refers to "The Memorial of Those Who Were Born in The Same Year", which were Prince Narisara Nuvadtivongs, Phraya Phiphat Kosa (Celestino Xavier), and Phraya Ratcha Songkhram (Kon Hongsakul), all of the three had jointly built the memorial as a gesture of gratitude to the queen. Saphan Chang Rong Si
Chang Rong Si Bridge ( th, สะพานช้างโรงสี, , ) is a bridge and monument in the Rattanakosin Island area of Phra Nakhon District, the historic centre of Bangkok. The bridge spans Khlong Khu Mueang Doem, the old city moat, and is locate behind the Ministry of Defense and at the front corner of the Ministry of Interior. It signifies the beginning of Bamrung Mueang Road as it continues eastward from Kanlayana Maitri Road. Atsadang Road meets the bridge's eastern foot at the eponymous Saphan Chang Rong Si Intersection, while Rachini Road runs alongside the canal on the opposite side. The bridge was originally built for elephants that returned from war and was located near a rice mill, hence came the name "Saphan Chang Rong Si", which literally means "elephants' bridge at rice mill". Saphan Hok
Saphan Hok ( th, สะพานหก, ) is a bridge over the old city moat or Khlong Khu Mueang Doem. It's connected between Saranrom Park and Wat Ratchabophit in Bangkok's Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang and Wang Burapha Phirom sub-districts, Phra Nakhon district. Its name translates as "tipping bridge". It's a bridge that can be drawn up for boats passing through. Originally, it was a wooden bridge that was built from the same type bridge in the Netherlands. In the early Rattanakosin period, there're eight Saphan Hok in the area of Bangkok, both the Phra Nakhon (Bangkok core side) and Thonburi sides.
