Pig Destroyer is an American grindcore band formed in 1997 in Alexandria, Virginia. The band was formed by vocalist J.R. Hayes, guitarist Scott Hull, and drummer John Evans. Throughout the band's earlier history, they were a three-piece group until sampler Blake Harrison joined in 2006, notably had no bassist until the inclusion of John Jarvis in 2013, and went through 2 past drummers with the role currently held by Adam Jarvis. Pig Destroyer is one of the most well-known grindcore bands in the genre due to Hayes's poetic lyrics, Hull's incorporation of thrash, punk, and doom influences in songwriting, and technical drum work. Williams Street Records LLC is an American independent record company founded by Jason DeMarco, based in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a joint venture of Cartoon Network's Williams Street Productions and Warner Music Group (Warner Bros. Antigama is a Polish grindcore band. The band formed in 2000. Antigama has released eight albums, four EPs, and several split records. Biography Antigama formed in Warsaw, Poland in 2000 by guitarist Sebastian Rokicki and drummer Krzysztof Bentkowski, and was later joined by Lukasz Myszkowski on vocals and Macio Moretti on bass guitar. Their first full-length album, ''Intellect Made Us Blind'', was released in early 2002 by The Flood Records. Coldworker was a Swedish deathgrind band, formed in early 2006. The band signed a deal with Relapse Records in June 2006, and since then released three studio albums, the debut '' The Contaminated Void'', in November 2006, followed by '' Rotting Paradise'', in May 2008, and '' The Doomsayer's Call'' in February 2012. The band split up in July 2013. History Coldworker was formed in early 2006 by Nasum's former drummer Anders Jakobson, who recruited guitarist Anders Bertilsson (formerly of The Project Hate MCMXCIX) and bassist Oskar Pålsson. Benümb was an American grindcore band from Millbrae, California. Biography Formed in 1994 in Oakland, California, Benümb became known within the local hardcore community as a respected grindcore band. The band went through various lineup changes during their early years. After playing together for almost a year, a split 7-inch with Short Hate Temper was released in mid-1995 on the Same Day label. Benümb spent the next year and a half playing shows with bands including Man is the Bastard, Spazz, Exhumed, Dystopia and Capitalist Casualties, among others. In 1997 the band recorded and released numerous 7-inch records, including splits with Dukes of Hazzard and Apartment 213. Their live set at the "Fiesta Grande" festival was recorded and released as part of the ''Fiesta Comes Alive!'' LP on Slap-a-Ham Records. Isis (sometimes stylized ISIS) was an American post-metal band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1997. The band borrowed from and helped to evolve the post-metal sound pioneered by bands such as Neurosis and Godflesh, characterized by lengthy songs focusing on repetition and evolution of structure.
