Pietro Alberini
Pietro Alberini (1625 – 9 July 1679) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as Titular Archbishop of Nicomedia (1674–1679) and Apostolic Nuncio to Savoy (1674–1675). ''(in Latin)'' Biography Pietro Alberini was born in Rome, Italy in 1625. On 15 January 1674, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Clement X as Titular Archbishop of Nicomedia. On 4 March 1674, he was consecrated bishop by Francesco Nerli (iuniore), Archbishop of Florence with Francesco Boccapaduli, Bishop Emeritus of Città di Castello, and Giuseppe Eusanio, Titular Bishop of Porphyreon serving as co-consecrators. On 4 March 1674, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Clement X as Apostolic Nuncio to Savoy where he served until his resignation in Nov 1675. He served as Titular Archbishop of Nicomedia until his death on 9 July 1679. Fabrizio Spada (Rome, 17 March 1643 – Rome, 15 June 1717) was an Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, and served as Secretary of State under Pope Innocent XII. Life Born on March 17, 1643 in Rome, he was the son of Orazio Spada and Veralli Maria. He was also a great-nephew of Cardinal Bernardino Spada and a nephew of Cardinal Giambattista Spada on his father's side, and a nephew of Cardinal Fabrizio Verallo on his mother's side. His sister, Eugenia Spada (1639–1717) married Girolamo Mattei, Duca di Giove of the House of Mattei. Spada completed his studies as a doctor of law ("''in utroque iure''") at the University of Perugia in 1664; after which he took holy orders on December 22, 1669. He was subsequently appointed referendary to the Apostolic Signatura and Lay Abbot of the monastery of Santa Maria d' Attilia, in the diocese of San Severino. Porphyreon
Porphyreon was a town in the late Roman province of Phoenice Prima, and a bishopric that was a suffragan of the metropolitan see of that province, Tyre. It corresponds to present-day Jieh, Lebanon. History Porphyreon is described in the ''Notitia Episcopatuum'' of Antioch as belonging to the sixth century, but does not appear in that of the tenth century. Le Quien mentions five of its bishops: *Thomas, 451; *Alexander, at the end of the fifth century; *Theodore, 518; *Christophorus, 536; *and Paul (contemporary of Justinian II), 565-78.
