Pierre River (Brébeuf Lake)
The Rivière Pierre (English: Pierre River) is a tributary of Brébeuf Lake, flowing in the municipality of Ferland-et-Boilleau and ivière-Éternité, in the Fjord-du-Saguenay, in the administrative region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. The lower part of the Pierre river valley is integrated into the zec du Lac-Brébeuf. The Pierre river valley is served by a forest road that serves the southwest shore of the Brébeuf Lake, for forestry, agriculture and recreational tourism activities. Some secondary forest roads serve this valley. Forestry is the main economic activity in the sector; recreational tourism, second. The surface of the Pierre River is usually frozen from the beginning of December to the end of March, however the safe circulation on the ice is generally made from mid-December to mid-March. The Pierre River is a tributary of the Mitchinamecus River which is a tributary of the rivière du Lièvre, flowing in the unorganized territory of Baie-Obaoca, in the Matawinie Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Lanaudière, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. The Pierre river flows entirely in the forest zone. From the middle of 19th century, forestry was the dominant economic activity in the sector; recreational tourism, second. Jean-Pierre River
The Jean-Pierre River is a tributary of the Jean-Pierre Bay, on the south shore of the Gouin Reservoir, flowing into the territory of the town of La Tuque, into the administrative region of Mauricie, in Quebec, in Canada. The Jean-Pierre River flows successively into the townships of Dansereau, Bureau and Leblanc, south of the Gouin Reservoir and on the west side of the upper Saint-Maurice River. The Pierre-Paul River flows into the Mékinac Regional County Municipality, in the administrative area of the Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, Canada, through these three municipalities of the Batiscanie: Saint-Tite, Sainte-Thècle and Saint-Adelphe.
