Colmar (, ; Alsatian: ' ; German during 1871–1918 and 1940–1945: ') is a city and commune in the Haut-Rhin department and Grand Est region of north-eastern France. The 2023 UCI Road World Championships were the 96th edition of the UCI Road World Championships, the annual world championships for road bicycle racing. There were held between 5 and 13 August 2023 in Scotland, as part of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships. The 2023 Le Samyn was the 55th edition of the Le Samyn road cycling one day race in Belgium. It was a 1.1-rated event on the 2023 UCI Europe Tour and the first event in the 2023 Belgian Road Cycling Cup.
