Pierre-Antoine Lemoine (1605–19 August 1665) was a French painter known for still lifes. He died in Paris. A still life (plural: still lifes) is a work of art depicting mostly wikt:inanimate, inanimate subject matter, typically commonplace objects which are either natural (food, flowers, dead animals, plants, rocks, shells, etc.) or artificiality, man-made (drinking glasses, books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc.).
