The unincorporated communities of Alaska, Wisconsin, Alaska and Rostok, Wisconsin, Rostok are in the town. Geography Pierce is in eastern Kewaunee County and is bordered by the city of Algoma, Wisconsin, Algoma to the north, Kewaunee, Wisconsin, Kewaunee to the south, and Lake Michigan to the east. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which are land and , or 14.71%, are water. Alaska is an unincorporated community located on Wisconsin Highway 42 in the town of Pierce, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. Alaska falls between East Alaska Lake and West Alaska Lake and is an important tourist and fishing spot. As well as home to Troop 3 Alaska in the area, it is also home to the Alaskan Golf Club, a public course located on East Alaska Lake. The community was named after the Alaska Territory The Territory of Alaska or Alaska Territory was an organized incorporated territory of the United States from August 24, 1912, until Alaska was granted statehood on January 3, 1959.
