Pierantonio Tremolada
Pierantonio Tremolada (born 4 October 1956 in Lissone) is an Italian Roman Catholic prelate who serves as the current Bishop of Brescia since his appointment on 12 July 2017. Prior to this he had served as a bishop in Milan. Life Pierantonio Tremolada was born in Lissone on 4 October 1956. Tremolada received his ordination to the priesthood from the then-Archbishop Carlo Maria Martini on 13 June 1981 and was sent afterwards to the Collegio Lombardo and to the Pontifical Biblical Institute where he received a bachelor's degree in Sacred Scripture. Beginning in 1985 he served as a professor of religious texts at the Theological College in Venegono until 2012. From 1997 until 2012 he served as the rector for the formation of permanent deacons. He was appointed a Monsignor on 10 August 2012. On 24 May 2014 Pope Francis appointed Tremolada Titular Bishop of Maxita and an Auxiliary Bishop of Milan. The Most Reverend
The Most Reverend is a style applied to certain religious figures, primarily within the historic denominations of Christianity, but occasionally in some more modern traditions also. It is a variant of the more common style "The Reverend". Mario Enrico Delpini (born 29 July 1951) is an Italian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has been serving as the Archbishop of Milan since his installation on 9 September 2017. He previously served as auxiliary bishop and vicar general of that archdiocese. Life Mario Enrico Delpini grew up in Jerago con Orago and in 1975 was ordained to the priesthood. He earned a degree in Italian Literature from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a licentiate in theology. Since 1975, Delpini taught the Italian language in the minor seminary of his native archdiocese and in 1989 he was named as the rector of the minor seminary. In 1993, he was named as the dean of the seminary of Venegono Inferiore and in 2000 he became the rector of all seminaries of the Milan archdiocese. Dionigi Tettamanzi (14 March 1934 – 5 August 2017) was an Italian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, who was named a cardinal in 1998. He was Archbishop of Genoa from 1995 to 2004 and Archbishop of Milan from 2004 to 2011. Early years Tettamanzi was born on 14 March 1934 in Renate, then in the province of Milan, now in the province of Monza and Brianza. He was educated at the Minor Seminary of Seveso and the Seminary of Venegono Inferiore and finally at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome where he earned a doctorate in theology. After studying in local seminaries, he was ordained a priest on 28 June 1957 by Archbishop Giovanni Battista Montini, the future Pope Paul VI.
