Pien Dicke (born 28 August 1999) is a field hockey player from the Netherlands, who plays as a forward. Personal life Pien Dicke was born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands. During her freshman year of university, Dicke studied at the University of Virginia. Career Club hockey In the Dutch Hoofdklasse, Dicke plays club hockey for SCHC. National teams Under–18 Pien Dicke made her debut in Netherlands colours in 2016, as part of the Under–18 team at the EuroHockey Youth Championship in Cork, Ireland. Under–21 In 2019, Dicke made her second appearance for a Dutch team with the Under–21 team at the EuroHockey Junior Championship in Valencia, Spain. Spain Women's National Under-21 Field Hockey Team
The Spain women's national under-21 field hockey team represents Spain in women's international under-21 field hockey and is controlled by the Royal Spanish Hockey Federation, the governing body for field hockey in Spain. Penalty Shoot-out
The penalty shootout is a method of determining a winner in sports matches that would have otherwise been drawn or tied. The rules for penalty shootouts vary between sports and even different competitions; however, the usual form is similar to penalty shots in that a single player takes one shot on goal from a specified spot, the only defender being the goalkeeper. If the result is still tied, the shootout usually continues on a "goal-for-goal" basis, with the teams taking shots alternately, and the one that scores a goal unmatched by the other team is declared the winner. This may continue until every player has taken a shot, after which players may take extra shots, until the tie is broken, and is also known as "sudden death". Cork ( , from , meaning 'marsh') is the second largest city in Ireland and third largest city by population on the island of Ireland. Women's Hoofdklasse Hockey
The Women's Hoofdklasse Hockey is the women's top division of Field hockey in the Netherlands. The league ranks first in the European league ranking table. The league was established in 1981 and before the league existed the champions of the several districts played in a championship pool to determine the national champion. Amsterdam are the current champions, having won the 2018–19 season by defeating Den Bosch in the championship final. Amsterdam won 20 titles, followed by Den Bosch with 19 and HOC with 14 titles.
